Greetings Everyone,

The DSLR Documentation and Reduction team will host a team meeting in the AAVSO chatroom to discuss our contribution to the upcoming JAAVSO special issue on Thursday, December 22 (due to a power outage and subsequent damage at AAVSO it has been rescheduled to) Wednesday, December 28 at 2:00 PM Eastern (19:00 UTC)

Status: Completed, (log 2011-12-26-DSLRTeamChat.pdf)
Saturday, Dec 26 at 19:00 - 20:00 UTC (Brian, Heinz, MIke and Roger in attendence)
Sat. Dec. 17 at 6:30 - 7:30 AM Eastern

Summary:
We discussed three items and a timeline for completing them.  (1) Roger will complete the reduction and preliminary analysis of the four fields we are using as test cases by Jan 1.  (2) BK, HB, and MD (potentially with Grigorius too) will inspect Roger's results to see where DSLR photometry begins to falter.  We defined "falter" as where the catalog value and the observed, calibrated, value differ by more than three standard deviations (including both catalog and observational uncertainties).  Lastly (3) BK will put up an outline of the paper onto Google Docs and supply the URL to the parties in attendence.  Please contact Brian if you wish to assist with writing/editing the paper.
