New Epsilon Aurigae Data from Spitzer!
New Epsilon Aurigae Data from Spitzer!
Last summer at the Epsilon Aurigae Workshop held at the Adler Planetarium Donald Hoard gave a presentation regarding infrared observations of our favorite system with the Spitzer Space Telescope. As you know we video taped these presentations and were able to put most of them here on the website. Donald's presentation was not among them since his results were embargoed...until now!
Donald Hoard's results, some of which he talks about in this presentation, have just been released at the American Astronomical Society's meeting in Washington, DC and are causing some excitement! Now you can view the presentation of this work that, until now, was only seen by the participants at the first Epsilon Aurigae workshop!
Brian Kloppenborg, of the University of Denver, talks about the current theory of what is eclipsing our favorite star.
