April 8, 2010 (All day) Riverwoods Field Lab of the Center for Environmental Studies of Florida Atlantic University hosts the South Plantation Magnet High School Environmental Science class. Chris Stephan, from AAVSO, will present a night sky viewing session with Riverwoods' 12 inch reflecting telescope. He will also use a green laser pointer to show the constellations and bright star names, along with Epsilon Aurigae and its comparison stars.
The event is from 8:00PM-10:00PM.
