Riverwoods Field Lab of the Center for Environmental Studies of Florida Atlantic University hosts another group of Environmental Science students from South Plantation Magnet High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Chris Stephan, Education Specialist at Riverwoods and an AAVSO observer, will present the night sky show with our 12 inch reflecting telescope. He will also be using a green laser pointer to identify constellations and bright stars. Our skies are 6.5 magnitude on a moonless night. Several spring variable stars will be shown along with Mars and Saturn.
