Riverwoods Field Lab and Arnold's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Okeechobee, Florida present "Star Gazing with Creatures of the Night". Chris Stephan, part-time Education Specialist at Riverwoods (AAVSO observer) will teach you fun facts about our Milky Way galaxy including constellations, planets, the moon, Epsilon Aurigae and other variable stars. Before dark watch rehabilitated panthers, bobcats, owls, and other animals. Peacocks are plentiful near the observing field. Several telescopes will be available, including Riverwoods' 12 inch reflecting telescope.

This is a fund raising event for Arnold's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
