I just had a chat with Arne about DSLR submissions and we came up with the following requests for those submitting DSLR data to the Citizen Sky/AAVSO database.

If you are using the spreadsheet provided by the DSLR team, please report your data as using a "V" filter and click the enable the "Transformed" flag. Also, put "DSLR" in the "Comments" field. Until a rigorous study has been conducted to see how accurate DSLR data can be transformed, it is best to identify the data in case such a study finds limitations.

Also, when transforming please use a standard field (such as the Pleides) instead of local field stars from another database. This will insure quality magnitude measures and also an appropriate range of color.
