Spectroscopy Chat This Thursday, July 29
Posted: July 28, 2009 - 11:05am
Join us this Thursday, July 29, at 3pm EST (-4UT) for an online chat with Jeff Hopkins. Login here. The featured topic will be amateur spectroscopy but feel free to also ask questions about the last epsilon Aurigae eclipse and photometry, both of which he has extensive experience with.

I'm looking forward to the Spectroscopy Chat Thursday (30 July 2009).
A note regarding the time. Here in Phoenix, as in in most of Arizona, we do not use daylight savings time. We are on MST not MDT. This means we in Arizona are now on the same time as those in California (PDT) and 3 hours different from EDT or say current East Coast time. The announcement was for 3 PMEST (not EDT), which would be 1 PMMST. If indeed it was supposed to be 3 PMEDT then it would be Noon here. To be on the safe side I will be available at noon MST/PDT (3 PMEDT, 2 PMEST) and stick around for at least two hours.
Talk with you Thursday.
Jeff
