Things will get interesting if you share your thoughts and observing progress here.  From visual observing to polarimetry and beyond, all photons are welcome at this cosmic crossroads.
Theory: the prevailing model is the Huang, Wilson, Kemp model featuring a dark disk crossing the face of the bright F supergiant star.  Competing models have been presented, including a hot companion causing refractive lensing - a new variation of the older Struve, Stromgren and Kuiper model updated by Matt Senay.
