Hi, my name is Mike Simonsen. I'll be one of the moderators of this list. I've been a visual observer for many years. I have over 55,000 visual observations in the AAVSO database. I should be able to help with any questions that come up, and I'm looking forward to sharing the experience of observing epsilon Aurigae and several other bright variables with you.
