Wikipedia Team?

Is anyone interested in running a team dedicated to Wikipedia? I'm thinking of  a team who's goals include making the epsilon Aurigae Wikipedia entry one of the best astronmy pages in the encyclopedia with the eventual goal of getting it listed on their astronomy portal and, who knows, maybe as a featured article. The team would need people to help with art, writing, making sure the science is accurate, linking/integrating it with other wikipedia pages, etc.

As with all our teams, we'll assign a professional scientist to advise you and answer science questions. But now we need a leader who can drive the team and also team members to help out.

If you are interested, fill out this form to propose a team and Rebecca will get back to you shortly.

I'd be willing to help out with this some, though due to my work on the VStar team I want to be careful not to overextend myself. I would highly recommend working within the existing Wikipedia "team" framework. For example, I have been somewhat involved in Wikipedia:WikiProject Astronomical objects where editors collaborate on improvements to astronomy articles. My account there is User:Mu301. Anyone else here at CS a regular or occasional contributor at Wikipedia?
