Background/Interesting Fact: I do variable star photometry from my observatory about 70 miles west of Houston, Texas.  For this work I'm using a 8" SCT and a CCD camera with a V filter. My goal is to be able to measure the magnitude of dimmer stars (around 15th magnitude) by using longer exposures (GE mount and tracking camera). Epsilon Aurigae is easy at around mag 3.
