Background/Interesting Fact: I have been an amateur astronomer for about 8 years. I have been wanting to contribute to astronomical science since I started but have been distracted. I was initially a member of the Astr. Soc. of Victoria, but have moved to northern NSW and am now an active member of the Port Macquarie Astronomical Association.<br /> I was impressed by your articles and tutorial on using DSLRs to do respectable photometry and would like to contribute to this program. Being in the Southern Hemisphere, however, means that I might be more effective if targets with a more southerly declination are of interest to your programme. I have just joined the RASNZ/VSS and am trying to tap into their programmes.<br />
