Background/Interesting Fact: I have spent the alst 17 years teaching science, math, and engineering in middle school gifted programs. I am also an Educator Ambassador for Fermi in a program based out of Sonoma State University, a NASA Heliophysics Ambassador, a Messenger Fellow, a Solar System Ambassador, and am actively presenting for a non-profit organization called Facing the Future. For six years I was also an National Space Biomedical Research Fellow and presented/ trained on the effects of long-term space travel upon the human body. I am utterly fascinated by every aspect of astronomy from cosmology to astrobiology.
